How much does it cost?

If you have a loved one that has received treatment from us, you qualify for 1 voucher. Additional supports may attend for $125, which helps cover the cost of food, supplies, and staffing.

Who facilitates the family program?

The program is facilitated by Shelby Robbins, who is a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor at Jackie Nitschke Center. Her bachelor’s degree is in Human Development and her master’s degree is in Addiction Counseling.

Who can attend the family program?

This program is specifically designed for family members, loved ones, and supports of those struggling or who have struggled with addiction in the past.  

Why is this different than an Al-Anon meeting or group therapy?

The family program’s focus is to educate and give loved ones the tools to cope within the chaos and aftermath of addiction. It is not therapy, but by having multiple people that are able to relate and connect to each other, the workshop has a stronger impact.

What will I gain from this workshop?

Our goal for the family program workshop is to help loved ones and supports help themselves. How do I qualify for this program?

If you have ever loved someone with a substance use disorder, you are invited to attend our FamilyEducation and Recovery Program. Whether your loved one is sober, currently using, or has lost their lifeto their disease, you are welcome here.
