Serving adults and families facing the struggles of substance addiction and mental health challenges since 1973.

Our mission is to provide life-saving hope, healing, and recovery to create stronger families and healthier communities.

Residential TREATMENT

Our 28-day residential program, medically supervised, offers intensive rehabilitation for those with alcohol and drug addiction. Through counseling and behavioral therapies, we address trauma, denial, shame, and guilt, helping clients rebuild self-esteem, develop coping skills, and enhance relationships, fostering lasting recovery.

OUTPATIENT TREATMENT

Our comprehensive Outpatient Treatment program acts as a vital bridge for individuals who have completed our Intensive Outpatient Program, offering an ongoing relapse prevention initiative where dedicated therapy sessions are held weekly, purposefully designed to provide continuous support and guidance, facilitating a smooth and sustainable transition into long-term recovery.

RECOVERY HOME LIVING

Offers a safe and healthy living environment while providing valuable peer support. Residents at a JNC Recovery Home have an opportunity to establish a sober lifestyle, a higher level of recovery, and an opportunity to give back to the community. Each resident meets with a JNC Recovery Housing Coordinator monthly to check in, establish goals, and discuss resources.

mental health disorders

For many, drug and alcohol addictions go hand in hand with mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety. In 2018, we became certified to treat both; substance addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. This gave treatment access to many individuals in our community, who would otherwise have to be turned away. The Jackie Nitschke Center is the ONLY adult residential treatment center for substance addiction in Brown county and one of only a few in the state that treat co-occurring mental health disorders.

The counselors at the Jackie Nitschke Center were so loving with my brother and helped him achieve true healing.

Who was Jackie Nitschke?

In 1997, the Jackie Nitschke Center was named after the late wife of Green Bay Packers great, Ray Nitschke. Jackie Nitschke was a recovering alcoholic and an outspoken advocate in the recovery community. She openly shared her journey with others, teaching our community that the disease of addiction crosses all income levels and families.
